    At a time when the symptomatic issues of oppression are felt across our social and political systems, we are called back to the root. During this event we will, as a community, focus on our most vulnerable students, seeking to create and share strategies to address the root causes of inequities magnified by COVID-19.  During this virtual gathering, you and your school leadership teams will have the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and build equitable restart supports that center your most vulnerable students.

    12:30-1:30 PM Breakout Sessions (Choose one) Managing School Finances Through A Crisis: Single-sites – Join Rhonda Henderson for workshop introducing tool and systems for managing finances through a crisis and towards sustainability.

    1:35 – 3:05 PM Whole School Trauma Supports (Onyx Therapy Group)
    In this session, leaders will be divided into three groups: Early Childhood, Middle/High School, and Adult/Opportunity Youth. During this 90-minute session, leaders will:
    1. Develop a Three-Point Plan (students, staff, and families) focusing on mental health and wellness and trauma-sensitive response
    2. Identify key staff members to implement a Three-Point Plan, and
    3. Determine methods to ensure accountability in operationalizing the plan.
    3:10 – 4:40 PM Creating Tiered Special Education Supports (SELF)
    In this session—and following a review of the Multi Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), leaders will:
    1. Begin to complete an interactive tool for planning Tier 1, 2, and 3 supports in distanced learning, in-person, and hybrid learning environments
    2. Receive data inventory tool and foundational skills planning template.
    4:45 – 5:30 PM  Community Connections Connect with leaders across the country for casual catching up or catalyzing for transformative change. 1:1 meetings for 15 minutes.
    5:15 – 5:30 PM Intro to Yardstick Recruitment Tool Recruitment is the best way to build sustainable school finances. Learn about a comprehensive tool from Yardstick Management and enter to win a free license.
    5:30 – 6:30 PM
